We as a human race have managed to build the internal combustion engine, eradicate smallpox. send a man to the moon and back, and build a machine that can cook our food in a matter of minutes. But we have not yet learned one of the most important things of all… how to simply be happy.
So let’s get real here for a minute. No one is suggesting we walk around being a goody-two-shoes all day long, trying to be happy about losing our job, the economy, having our flight cancelled or spilling our extra-hot, double shot latte down the front of our shirt.
But facts are facts. Since what we send out is what we get back, and since what we send out comes from what we’ve been focusing on, it might behoove us to pay a sight more attention to what we’re thinking about, and how that is making us feel.
We must learn to be masters of our thinking. We must realize that the power to create real joy and happiness all starts with what we are thinking.
A nice little piece to remind you that life should be fun, worrying is unproductive thought about the future, and that letting go and being a little crazy is a good thing.
